He was born in 1950 in Ankara. After completing his primary and secondary education, he graduated from Hacettepe Faculty of Medicine. After his residency in brain surgery, he started to work at Mersin State Hospital in 1981 and was proud to be the first official brain surgeon in the history of Mersin. When he retired in 2008, he got an offer from Adana Ortopedia Hospital and worked on spine surgery for 7 years. He is a member of Turkish Spine Association and Spinal Surgery Association and is currently dealing with especially spine distortions (scoliase-kyphosis) spinal stenosis, microsurgery of spinal disc herniation and cervical discal hernia at Mersin Yenişehir Hospital.
